Designing and Building Social Relationships Between Humans and Robots for Better Utilization of Technology
Tomoe OZEKI
To design social relationships between humans and robots that foster problem-solving strategies and promote diverse learning activities, we are advancing interaction research to explore the mechanisms of human-technology engagement. In virtual environments, we operate with a hybrid persona called "Ozeki-san," conducting experimental validation studies on the formation of collaborative communities and problem-solving processes that transcend location and status. In the areas of remote operation, human-machine interfaces, and usability evaluation, we approach from the domain of higher-order cognitive processing, including skill acquisition, which is fundamental to AI technology.
